I was blessed to begin my career in the classroom as a public school educator, and that experience has grown into a life’s work as a scholar, public policy and community engagement expert, strategist, and connector. At the heart of my work are people, place, purpose, and possibility.

I am a daughter. I am a sister. I am a wife. I am a mother. I am a friend, and so much more.

I am a proud resident of the District of Columbia. DC is my forever home.

Each day, it is an honor to work in partnership and collaboration with others to help make the District of Columbia, and cities like it, the kind of communities we all deserve.
